Day 32...Dear Mr. President...Our Own 'Home-Grown' Terrorists.

Day 32

Dear Mr. President,

June 5^th is a sad day in our U.S. History because it was the day in 1968 that Sirhan Sirhan killed Robert Kennedy at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. I bring this up because today is June 5^th, and it’s Sunday… the day I have chosen to remind you to “Bring Our Troops Home”.

You might be asking yourself what the murder of Robert Kennedy has to do with bringing our troops home. While Sirhan Sirhan was born in Jerusalem to a Palestinian Christian family, he came to this country and a young boy and was raised mostly by his mother. The connection is our “so-called” war on terrorism as a reason for invading Iraq, and Afghanistan after the terrorist attacks on 9/11.

First a brief history of American Terrorists/ assassins:

A. Lincoln, shot by John W. Booth (W/M) born in Bel Air, Maryland.

J. Garfield, shot by Charles Guiteau (W/M) born in Freeport, Illinois.

W. McKinley, shot by Leon Czolgosz (W/M) born in Alpena, Michigan.

J.F. Kennedy, shot by Lee Harvey Oswald (W/M) born in New Orleans, LA.

Attempted assassinations:

T. Roosevelt, shot by John Schrank, (W/M) from New York since he was 3.

G. Ford, shot by Lynette Fromme (W/F) born in Santa Monica, CA

    and another attempt by Sara Jane Moore (W/F) born in Charleston, WV.

R. Reagan, shot by John Hinkley Jr. (W/M) born in Ardmore, OK.

All of these “terrorist assassins” were “home-grown” white males, or white females, as was the Oklahoma City Bomber Timothy McVeigh and the Unabomber Theodore Kaczynski. Even the Anthrax deaths after 9/11 are believed to be the work of “home-grown” terrorists.

Now to the 9/11 “terrorists”… 15 of the 19 were from Saudi Arabia, 2 were UAE, 1 was Lebanese and 1was Egyptian, and we all know that Osama Bin Laden was born a Saudi. One can’t help but wonder why Bush didn’t invade Saudi Arabia, if his intent was to “punish” the country responsible for the 9/11 attacks, but of course he couldn’t really do that considering his “family ties” with Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, our “Good Friend” and Ally.

My point Mr. President is that none of the “terrorists” were from Iraq or Afghanistan, or even Pakistan, where we ultimately found Bin Laden. All of our own “terrorists” are U.S. born, “God Loving”, good ole’ American men and women. Ya gotta love the irony.

Isn’t it time to “End the War on Terrorism” and start looking at the terrorists we’re breeding right here in the good ole’ U.S. of A? Look around you Mr. President, people are not happy… you need to focus your attention on “Our” problems instead of interfering in other countries problems. Please bring our troops home… now!
